St John the Evangelist in Ravenhead, St. Helens, Merseyside is a Christian congregation serving the Ravenhead, St. Helens community and seeking, engaging, and encouraging others through a life-changing Christian journey.
We seek to be a loving, friendly community that worships God, and serves others. We place a high priority on teaching from the Bible and following the example of Jesus.
Our vision is to impact and renew Ravenhead, St. Helens and beyond with the transforming message of Jesus Christ through words and actions.

A traditional Book of Common Prayer Holy Communion service with hymns and a serMonday
Utilising the much loved liturgy of the Church of England's Book of Common Prayer, our early morning service offers Holy Communion every Sunday.
Subject to availability of clergy as St. Johns is currently in interregnum. A service of 'Morning Worship' may take place instead.
Every first second third and fourth Sunday at 8:30 AM for 1 hour
10:45am Service of the Word
This is our main Sunday service and includes 5-Alive Club for children and young people.
Encompassing Common Worship's Service of the Word, Holy Communion and All Age Worship services, this service is a refreshing mix of Church of England liturgy alongside traditional and modern hymns and songs accompanied by the pipe organ and our worship music group. The sermon takes on a variety of formats, while the easy to follow New International Version Bible is most often used for readings.
