Who we are
Our Mission: St. Justin, Martyr Parish is a growing, compassionate community of Catholic Christians sharing our gifts and talents in the service of others according to the teachings of Jesus Christ.
When the community of St. Justin, Martyr celebrated its first Mass on Friday December 7, 1990 in our new church, St. Justin's served an estimated 1,200 families. Since that time, our community has continued to grow, and we now have over 5,500 families living within our parish boundaries. We have five parish elementary schools, and one parish high school which educate and prepare our children to live Catholic Christian lives.
Our community has grown in other ways as well. Many visitors who attend our Sunday liturgies have expressed how vibrant, warm and inviting our parish is. They marvel at the active participation of the people in all aspects of our celebration, from the Ministers of Hospitality who greet them, to the dedicated Altar Servers, Lectors and Ministers of Communion who add so much to our prayerful worship and spiritual communion.
We are also becoming known as a parish which reaches out beyond our Sunday services to answer the needs of the community in which we live. Many dedicated parishioners have given their time and energy to feeding the hungry, visiting the sick, comforting the dying and bringing solace and friendship to those who have lost a loved one.
