Who we are
Welcome to the Circle of Faith
We are an Anglican Community dedicated to sharing our faith with others through Worship, Fellowship, Caring and ministering to all who need.
The amalgamation of four Anglican Churches forms the 'Circle of Faith, and has created an extended family of worship: Church of the Messiah, Kincardine; St. Matthew's, Kingarf; St. Luke's, Pine River; and St. Thomas', Walkerton.
The Anglican Church in Kincardine, Ontario (2006 pop. 11,173) was established in 1857. The Church of the Messiah, Kincardine has the largest of the congregations in the parish.
St. Thomas Anglican Church in Walkerton, Ontario (2006 pop. 9,641) is the oldest church within Grey Bruce Counties. Built from a log structure, to its present foundation, the historic church is in need of repair and appealing for funds for renovations.
St. Luke's Anglican Church can be found at the extreme west end of Huron Kinloss Township, Concession 4. St. Luke's is located at Pine River (Alice Street, Point Clark) and embodies the traditions of a small rural church. Sitting on a small hill, nestled amongst the trees, St. Luke's provides a sanctuary for worship in this shoreline hamlet welcoming both the local community and seasonal residents in this traditional cottage area.
St. Matthew's Anglican Church, located on County Road 1, Kingarf, Ontario has been serving the needs of Anglicans in rural southern Bruce County since 1866.
The Circle of Faith Parish is in the Deanery of Saugeens in the Diocese of Huron.
