Sunday
Early Sunday Communion
This service actually uses Common Worship Order 2. It a quiet said service using the chancel. We are a friendly and small congregation at 8 am.
Sunday at 8:00 AM
All Age Sunday Service
We are a friendly congregation where families, children and older people are represented. On the first Sunday we have an All Age service which is shorter and informal with a mixture of band and organ music. Crèche facilities are always available.
Every first Sunday at 9:45 AM
Main Sunday Service H.C.
Usual Main Sunday Service. We follow a variety of main, simple and Celtic Holy Communion services. The many children go out during the first hymn and return at The Peace. Groups run for ages 0-17 years. We are trying to increase ways that children can be involved in and understand worship. A friendly congregation with many staying for refreshments afterwards.

Evening Service
We are introducing Evening services to be normally held on the first Sunday evening but this may vary.
We will have a mixture of Taize, Holy Communion with prayers for healing, Evensong, Songs of Praise, Contemporary Worship with teas and Youth Services

Mid Week Communion Service
Mid week said Holy Communion service. We use Common Worship and the side (Chapel).
The 1st Wednesday at 10am with Mothers Union.
All other Weds 9 am.
Every second third fourth and fifth Wednesday at 9:00 AM for 40 minutes
Little Lights (toddler/pram and parents time)
This is a regular relaxed time for parents with very small children . Bible story, singing then play and refreshments . Just right for precious little ones.
Every second Wednesday at 2:00 PM for ½ hour
Little Lights (toddler/pram and parents time)
This is a regular relaxed time for parents with very small children . Refreshments are afterwards.
Every third Wednesday at 2:00 PM for ½ hour
Mothers Union
Mothers Union meets on the first and third Wednesday in the month. 10 am and 2pm respectively. Speakers, visits out, encouragement and fellowship. All are welcome

Youth Groups Institute Hall
Youth Groups run on Fridays. Schools Out yrs 3,4,5 @3.15pm to 4.15pm at Herne Junior school. Friday Youth ;Yrs 6,7,8 6pm to 7.30pm Institute hall. Youth social 1st in month yrs 9,10,11 8.30 to 10pm. The Core (post confirmation group at Vicarage Yrs 8,9,10.

Lord, teach me to listen.
The times are noisy and my ears are weary with the thousand raucous sounds which continuously assault them. Give me the spirit of the boy Samuel when he said to Thee, "Speak, for Thy servant heareth." Let me hear Thee speaking in my heart. Let me get used to the sound of Thy voice, that its tones may be familiar when the sounds of earth die away and the only sound will be the music of Thy speaking. Amen.
