Who we are
Welcome to the St. Mary Queen of Creation Parish!
When St. Mary’s became a parish back in 1876, who would have thought that modern technology would enable us to communicate by way of the Internet? Our world truly is shrinking and becoming what has been called a "global village." How wonderful that news that used to take hours or days to send can now be communicated in seconds across a fiber-optic cable!
We hope that you will find here information that will be both helpful and inspiring. The parish liturgical schedule will let you know when we gather for worship. The Luminary, our weekly bulletin or "church paper," will keep you posted on events happening in the parish and in the larger community. There’s even the homily I gave last weekend, in case you missed it!
If there is anything St. Mary’s can do for you, let us know. We warmly invite you and welcome you to worship with us, learn with us, and serve the community with us as we proclaim the Good News of Jesus Christ and try to live the challenging call "... to make Jesus Christ known and visible." May Jesus and Mary, Queen of Creation, "bless you and keep you and hold you" in the palm of their hands!
Father Charles White IV,
Pastor

St. Mary Queen of Creation Parish History
Teach us to serve Thee
Teach us, good Lord, to serve Thee more faithfully; to give and not to count the cost; to fight and not to heed the wounds; to toil and not to seek for rest; to labour and not to ask for any reward, save that of knowing that we do Thy will, O Lord our God.
