Who we are
Welcome to St. Mary's Episcopal Church. We invite you to join us for worship, fellowship and ministry in the orthodox Anglo-Catholic tradition. You will find a warm welcome in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ when you visit us. The mission of St. Mary's is to proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ to all people through creative, Eucharist-Centered worship which empowers the ministry of the laity in all areas of our daily life and work. We do this individually and in community, by example, through outreach, service, pastoral care and education, in obedience to Christ's love. St. Mary's is a traditional, orthodox Episcopal parish which values the Anglo-Catholic tradition of worship. We use the sacring (sanctus) bells during the Mass, occasionally employ incense and we have votive candles. We use the Stations of the Cross weekly during Lent and the nave and sanctuary are decorated with Christos Rexes and other more High Church related symbols. All baptized believers in Jesus Christ of any denomination and any age are welcomed to receive Communion at the Lord's table.

I want to know Thee
Father, I want to know Thee, but my coward heart fears to give up its toys. I cannot part with them without inward bleeding, and I do not try to hide from Thee the terror of the parting. I come trembling, but I do come. Please root from my heart all those things which I have cherished so long and which have become a very part of my living self, so that Thou mayest enter and dwell there without a rival. Then shalt Thou make the place of Thy feet glorious. Then shall my heart have no need of the sun to shine in it, for Thyself wilt be the light of it, and there shall be no night there. In Jesus Name, Amen.
