Who we are
Welcome to St. Mary’s
Our ancient building is the historic parish church of Walthamstow. People have worshipped here for over 1000 years.
St Mary’s is home to a vibrant multi-ethnic Christian community. With our sister churches we enjoy a range of Sunday worship and midweek activities for people of all ages and backgrounds. For more information about groups and activities click here.
All we do celebrates and explores life in response to God’s love. We believe Jesus Christ offers real hope for our world, and whilst we don’t get everything right, we want to contribute to the common good of all in our community.

St Mary's Walthamstow Service Times
Sundays at St Mary’s
8 am Holy Communion
A great way to start the day in peace and quiet using traditional words.
10.30 am Morning Worship
A contemporary service with music, images, and thought provoking ideas. We welcome everyone and have special groups for children and young people, and a staffed crèche. The first and third Sundays in the month are Holy Communion, the second is Morning Worship and the fourth All Age Worship.
7 pm Evening Worship
We start with refreshments at 6.30! Joining with Christians from across our churches, our evening service varies between Holy Communion, informal Praise and Contemplative prayer. A great space to take time out with God and others.
It's been more than 9 years since the last service times update. Please make sure to contact the church to confirm service times.
