St Mary the Virgin in Lydney, Gloucestershire is a Christian congregation serving the Lydney community and seeking, engaging, and encouraging others through a life-changing Christian journey.
We seek to be a loving, friendly community that worships God, and serves others. We place a high priority on teaching from the Bible and following the example of Jesus.

Every fourth Sunday at 10:00 AM for 1 hour and 20 minutes.
Wednesday
Little Sparklers Toddler Group
A toddler group with stories, songs, activities and crafts. Held in the Old Vicarage.
During Term Time Only
Wednesday at 9:30 AM for 1½ hours
Holy Communion Service
A mid-week service of Holy Communion held fortnightly on a Wednesday, alternating between both churches
Wednesday at 10:45 AM for ¾ hour
Women's Fellowship
A social/fellowship meeting of the women of the parish with Speaker, held on the fourth Wednesday of the month.
Every fourth Wednesday at 7:30 PM
Thursday
Bell-ringing
St. Mary's has a set of 10 bells and an enthusiastic team of ringers. Apart from ringing for services the tower is a venue for visiting teams from around Gloucestershire and beyond. Practice takes place each Thursday at 19:30:00
