Bridges family service
Bridges Family Service is every first Sunday in the month there is a 30 minute family service in Fakenham Parish Church at 9.30am.
The Bridges Prayer sums up the idea behind the service that it should be a ‘bridge’ for people outside the church to feel comfortable crossing that ‘bridge’ and celebrating God’s love for us all wherever we are on our journey.
This service is short and directed at the family with familiar hymns, short prayers and a Biblical theme.
Bridges Prayer
Loving God,
as we make tentative steps towards you
we find that the barriers between us were all of our own making.
You build the bridge and come to meet us
with a welcoming smile of joy.
Loving God,
fill us with your love, your joy, your life giving Spirit
and walk with us in our lives today and every day.
Amen.
