Who we are
At the 2012 Parish AGM, all was deemed to be working very well and so it was decided we continue to operate in a similiar manner. Starting in February, 2011 the Bashaw Lutheran Parish moved forward in a contractual partnership with the Edberg/New Norway Lutheran Parish --- sharing the ministry of Rev. Jeff Decelle, residing in New Norway, AB. At St.Peter's we continue with bi-monthly worship services with Holy Communion twice a month, we offer pastoral care and visitations, benevolence to the Synod and donations to local charitable groups and CLWR. With us night and morning
By gracious powers so wonderfully sheltered, and confidently waiting come what may, we know that God is with us night and morning, and never fails to greet us each new day. Yet is this heart by its old foe tormented, still evil days bring burdens hard to bear; Oh, give our frightened souls the sure salvation for which, O Lord, You taught us to prepare.
