Who we are
Since 1955, Temple Baptist Church has been a place of worship and ministry to the city of Cambridge. We focus on powerful preaching of God's Word - the Bible is central to our worship. By doing so, we expand His kingdom, and learn and grow as Christians as we glorify God! As a church family, we desire to increase in knowledge, to impact our world with the Gospel and to be used for great things as we follow Christ's example through our words and actions. Here at Temple, we offer a wide range of programs and ministries with a unique family atmosphere that is inviting to those of all ages. No matter where you find yourself in your spiritual journey, our desire is to encourage you and enable you to establish and strengthen your relationship with Jesus Christ.

Leader Bio:
Jonathan is our Lead Pastor and he joined us in September of 2012. Jonathan holds a Bachelor of Arts in Pastoral Studies from Moody Bible Institute, a Master of Divinity from Bethel Seminary and a Doctor of Ministry from Liberty University. He is also an adjunct professor at Heritage College and Seminary. Jonathan and his wife, Lori, have four children: Jessie, Josiah, Noah and Luke. Jonathan and Lori love packing the kids into the van for long road trips to see God’s creation, and to visit their family scattered throughout North America. Jonathan considers himself a missionary with Christ and His Church. He loves the outdoors, but His overriding passion is to be a multiplier of multipliers for the glory of God!
