Who we are
St. Peter's Anglican Orthodox Church welcomes you!
The Anglican Orthodox Church (AOC) is Traditional Low Episcopal holding up Jesus Christ as man's Divine Saviour, preaching and teaching the Bible (KJV) as the Word of God, using the 1928 Book of Common Prayer, ordaining men to Holy Orders in a line of succession of bishops dating back to the Apostles, and upholding Biblical morality.
We believe our church appeals to all seeking salvation in Christ and who want to participate in the purified ancient sacraments and hear the preaching of the Gospel of salvation given to us by God's grace. We appropriate this salvation for ourselves through faith alone under the prompting and blessing of the Holy Spirit. We believe we occupy a strategic and unique place in Christendom, representing a form of worship existing since the 1500's.
We praise God for our church which stands firmly on the Bible as His inspired Word, proclaims eternal life for believers in God's Son, and joy and peace in the hope of our salvation. Jesus says, "I am the way, the truth, and the life: NO MAN COMETH UNTO THE FATHER BUT BY ME." (John 14:6)

Light of the World
Jesus, the Light of the World, as we celebrate your birth... may we begin to see the world in the light of understanding you give us. As you chose the lowly, the outcasts, and the poor to receive the greatest news the world had ever known, so may we worship you in meekness of heart. May we also remember our brothers and sisters less fortunate than ourselves in this season of giving. Amen.
