Who we are
The Anglican Parish of Diamond Creek exists because of Jesus Christ and for Jesus Christ.
As a Christian community we have been brought together because of what Jesus has done for us in his life, death and resurrection. Our mission is ‘To know Christ and make him known’. We seek to grow in Jesus as we engage with the bible and apply it to our lives and world. And we seek to share Jesus with others so that they might know the peace, security and purpose that come from a living relationship with him.
We love to welcome visitors and newcomers all the time. There’s a place for everyone here, whatever your stage of life.
Spend some time here to learn more about our worship services, our different ministries and events, how to arrange a special service such as a baptism or a wedding, or listen to some of our recent teaching sermons.
Please feel free to contact our office or staff for any further information that you need about our parish.

The Anglican Parish of Diamond Creek Service Times
Sundays at 8am
Our 8am service offers a traditional Anglican Prayer Book service, usually celebrating Holy Communion. This service brings together congregations from St Michael’s Yarrambat, St Katherine’s St Helena and St John’s Diamond Creek.
Sundays at 10am
The 10am service at St John’s is an intergenerational congregation, welcoming all – regardless of age. Our style is a blend of contemporary and traditional worship, with an emphasis on learning and celebration.
Sundays at 6pm
At our evening service, we have a relaxed, informal atmosphere with a special focus on connecting youth and young adults (ages 13-30) with Jesus. Starting at 6pm, we sing songs with our band to God, and about God, because we think he’s great. We hear a talk about part of the Bible (you can hear all our talks on our podcast), and we’ll pray together, talking to God.

As we meet and gather online, we’re still all about Jesus, the hope that he brings. Our vision is the same online as it is in-person: to be an intergenerational community, loving like Jesus, growing in Jesus and sharing Jesus.

Empower me
Empower me to be a bold participant, rather than a timid saint in waiting; to exercise authority of honesty, rather than to defer to power or deceive to get it; to influence someone for justice, rather than impress anyone for gain; and by grace, to find treasures of joy, of friendship, of peace hidden in the fields you give me daily to plow.
