Who we are
The first thing we’ll ask of you is simple: relax. You’re with friends, even if you’ve never been in church before. Whether you’re single, married, single again, with or without children – no matter where you’ve been or what you’ve done – we invite you to experience the difference at The Turning Point. When you visit our church, you will find:
A caring group of people that will gladly welcome you
Preaching/teaching that is centered on the Word of God
Ministries to meet the spiritual needs of every age
A corporate outlet for truth-filled praise and worship
We invite you to stop by our coffee bar open every Sunday at 9:30am until our worship service begins at 11 am. Whatever your background or ethnicity, at the Turning Point you will experience a multi-cultural congregation of people who look forward to meeting you and an environment where you will grow spiritually.

Carlton Jones has served as Pastor of The Turning Point since 2004. He and his wife have two boys- Chase and Noah. Pastor Jones grew up in the Inland Empire under the leadership of his grandfather, the late Rev. Lee Davis, who pastored in Riverside for 45 years. Pastor Jones then became a full-time evangelist and eventually settled in Virginia where he was an assistant pastor to Rev. Marty Varnell. After marrying Julie in 2000, they continued their ministry in Virginia until relocating to Moreno Valley in 2004 to pastor The Turning Point.
