Who we are
In early 1998, God began to speak to the hearts of a group of people to pray for their church, their leadership, their families; but there was a special fervor to pray the lost would find Christ. This spoken Word became a fire in their hearts - a fire to have a direct effect on neighborhoods, communities, and city.
FAITH IN ITS TRUE FORM Answering the call, Pastors Glenn and Geneva Westerman made the decision to begin a new work: not just to "start a church", but to pioneer a ministry with a vision for outreach. It became quickly evident to them God was spiritually taking them down a road they had never travelled to a place they had never been.
In October of 1998, Associate Pastor Jim Frazier received a call that the old Vapors building was for sale. An agreement to purchase the building was reached, and Tower Of Strength Ministries had a new home.
So, on Halloween Night of 1998, armed with Gospel tracts and several bowls of candy, about 8 people took rotation at the front of the old Vapors nightclub declaring "Jesus Is Lord of Park Avenue."
THE VAPORS HAS BEEN BORN AGAIN The first service held was a Bible study on the following Wednesday evening. Air filled with decades of damp stench, rot and decay quickly gave way to the high praises of heaven declaring the Glory of God! This building, once a treasured venue for some of the world's finest entertainers, was now a place where lives would be touched and changed forever. The Hot Springs Sentinel-Record declared on Page 1: "The Vapors Has Been Born Again".
In the Spring of 1999, Jim Frazier became pastor of TOSM after the passing of Pastor Glenn. After�12 years, the journey has been long, but God has shown His power and anointing each step of the way.

To seek, welcome, gather, and disciple people into the community of the body of Christ.
We are called to lead people to commit their lives to God through Jesus Christ, to teach people who they are in Christ and how to live a victorious life in their covenant rights and privileges.� We then strive to lead born again believers to the place where they operate in the biblical principles of faith, love, healing, prosperity, redemption, and righteousness and to the place where they can share those principles with others.
