Who we are
Diverse. Multi-cultural. Energetic. Spirit-led. Warm. Welcoming.
That’s who we are at Westminster Church of Detroit. We are a church for all people, and we would love for you to join us for worship or mission.
When you come to worship, you’ll have a chance to sing (if you want to), pray, and hear a thoughtful message that applies to your daily life. Afterward, please be our guest at coffee hour, for a snack and conversation.
We want you to feel comfortable as you worship God with us. The printed bulletin will guide you through the service, and we won’t make you stand up and introduce yourself. Come and join us any Sunday!
Join us any Sunday for worship at 8:30 or 11:00.
(Summer and special Sundays, 10:00.)
Everyone is welcome here! No experience necessary — you can’t do it wrong here.

Other information
With us night and morning
By gracious powers so wonderfully sheltered, and confidently waiting come what may, we know that God is with us night and morning, and never fails to greet us each new day. Yet is this heart by its old foe tormented, still evil days bring burdens hard to bear; Oh, give our frightened souls the sure salvation for which, O Lord, You taught us to prepare. And when this cup You give is filled to brimming with bitter suffering, hard to understand, we take it thankfully and without trembling, out of so good and so beloved a hand. Yet when again in this same world You give us the joy we had, the brightness of Your Sun, we shall remember all the days we lived through, and our whole life shall then be Yours alone.
