Who we are
Abingdon Community Church is a lively family church. We believe that people are important and that Jesus can help us in our daily situations. Whatever your age, background and life situation, there is a place for you. We seek to involve everyone in the life of the church and encourage each other to use and develop the different gifts that God has given us.
Abingdon Community Church is part of Oxfordshire Community Churches (OCC) which is part of the Salt and Light family. We are also members of the Church in Abingdon and the Evangelical Alliance.
We sometimes meet up with the other churches that make up Oxfordshire Community Churches for a celebration in Oxford or Didcot instead of meeting in Abingdon. Celebrations are times when everyone from Oxfordshire Community Churches comes together to praise and worship God and to hear apostolic and prophetic direction for our churches. During these times, we run a full programme of children's and youth work. When there is a celebration coming up, there will be more details on our events page.

Abingdon Community Church Abingdon Service Times
Most Sundays we meet at Thameside School. We will start start serving coffee and tea at 10:15 giving you a chance to get to know other people here. Fellowship with one another is important so we look forward to you being with us by 10:30. We aim to finish the service at about 12:15 and you will have the opportunity for more coffee and tea together with fellowship with each other after the meeting.

Under 12s:
We have a crèche for children aged 0-3 with activities for toddlers upwards and toys and space for babies.
For those aged 4 to end of Year2, we have Explorers, starting with Quest for a snack and introduction before starting their own activities.
For children Year3 - Year6 there is QUEST with games, activities nd discussion based around the Bible.

Under 18s:
Young People, Year7-Year11 meet about alternate weeks. This group also have an afternoon meeting called Rock Solid
