Who we are

What We Believe About ...

The Bible: It is the Word of God, fully inspired and without error in the original writings.

The Trinity: There is one living and true God, eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

Jesus Christ: Is The Eternal Son of God, Who was conceived of the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary. He accomplished our redemption through His death as a representative, substitutionary sacrifice and our justification is made sure by His literal, physical resurrection and ascension.

The Sinfulness of Man: All men are sinners and alienated from God; Man is totally depraved and of himself, utterly unable to remedy his lost condition.

Salvation: It is the gift of God by grace and received by personal faith in the Lord Jesus Christ whose blood was shed for the forgiveness of our sins.

The Second Coming: Jesus will return to earth bodily to establish His kingdom and execute justice.

The Eternal Destiny of the Soul: Every person will experience either heaven or hell, depending upon whether or not he has put his faith in Christ as personal Savior.

Mission & Purpose

To proclaim to all the Good Newsthat God sent Jesus Christ as the sufficient sacrifice and payment for sin and to exhort sinners to repent of their sin, trusting in the finished work of Christ as their Savior from sin.

To stimulate each believer to be growing in faith, becoming a more fully devoted follower of Jesus Christ thereby encouraging growth and fellowship within the body bringing ultimate glory to God.

Our Values

Brazil Bible Fellowship Church is an independent, non-denominational church, but even more importantly, it is truly "a family" of people, from different walks of life, who love God; are deeply committed to serving Jesus Christ; and who desire to become more like Him.

We love God’s Word, the Bible, and appreciate the clear, verse-by-verse teaching and practical application that is given each time it is opened in our church services.

We cherish the relationships that we have spiritually, with one another and with Christ as we grow in our love for Him and for one another.

We extend an invitation to all of those in each of the surrounding communities who value, or seek such things, to be our guests and see what God may have in store for us together!

Brazil Bible Fellowship Church History

History of BBFC

Brazil Bible Fellowship Church grew from a plant by the Indiana Bible Church Mission. It graduated from the mission in the late 1980s, but fell upon hard times resulting in it being re-planted by the mission in 1997 and was brought under the auspices of Midwest Church Extension when IBCM became part of the merger forming that agency. The church has grown from around 12 in attendance in 1997 to an attendance of 30-40 today.

The original congregation, in the 1980s, built a brick-faced building with an auditorium seating more than 80 people. Additional space includes five classrooms and the Pastor’s office. The building and property are debt free.

Short term (18-24 months) Goals:
Development of regular Youth Ministry; Training and active participation of congregation in evangelism; Creating a structured discipleship ministry.

Long term (2-5 years) Goals:
Further development of leadership; Broader ministry outreach; Training of lay people to provide biblical counseling.
