Who we are
We are a Christian community of believers who seek to "Make disciples for Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world" as part of The Global Methodist Church. We are set in the beautiful rural township of Elkmont, Alabama. There are two worship services. The Contemporary Worship service is at 8:45 AM on Sundays with "The City of Refuge" praise band led by Brad McNatt. The Traditional worship service in at 11:00 AM in the Wesleyan Tradition. There is a Sunday School class for every age group at 10:00 AM Sunday. The Children's Ministry "Jesus And Me" (JAM) every Sunday from 5:00-5:45 PM led by Leigh Ann Willingham. Global Methodist Youth Fellowship (GMYF) youth groups meet on Sunday evening at 6:00 PM. The Middle School youth Leaders are Jeff Payne and April Hamlin. The Senior High youth group is lead by Beth Hobbs. All activities are part of our Safe Sanctuary program to protect all children, youth and vulnerable adults. Please come and join with us in sharing God's Grace through Jesus Christ in the Power of the Holy Spirit.
