Who we are

Porth United Reformed Church was founded as Porth English Congregational Church in 1881. The current building was erected in 1885. Membership doubled during the religious revival reaching 247 at its peak. This increase in members led to a greater availability of funds which enabled the church to build a new vestry and schoolroom in 1910. In 1972 the church became part of the United Reformed Church. The church closed in 2016
