Who we are
Faith Presbyterian Church has a deep, abiding desire to see people come to know Jesus Christ and grow in their walk with the Lord.
For nearly three decades, Faith Church has been reaching out to spread the good news of Jesus in The Villages, the surrounding community and around the world. Our prayer is that God will continue to use the people of Faith to take the Word of God to those who do not know Christ.
At Faith Church, our worship is centered on the Word of God. A favorite expression of Pastor Moore is that in our worship service, God has the first and last word. This is expressed in the Call to Worship, in the hymns we sing, and in the pastor's expository preaching of God's Word as it applies to our daily lives.
If you are looking for a church whose worship service is Christ-centered and grounded in the Word of God, we invite you to come visit Faith Presbyterian Church. We welcome the opportunity to get to know you, to offer a fresh look at Scripture and to grow in your faith in the living God. Our Pastor is available to talk with you after the service or to meet with you during the week. Pastor Moore has served in ordained ministry since 1987. His thirty years in ministry has provided him a wealth of teaching and preaching experiences. He has pastored several churches in North Carolina and Georgia, and has served the Church as a preacher and teacher throughout the Southeast, as well as in Germany and the Caribbean. His educational background includes a B.A. in Religion and Philosophy from Auburn University and a Master of Divinity from Reformed Theological Seminary in Jackson MS. Pastor Moore and his wife, Nancy, have two grown children and two beautiful grandchildren.
