Who we are
We are an energetic, lively church made up of people of all ages from all walks of life and from different nations. We love to see new people and are confident that you will feel at home. Our Sunday mornings begin at 10.30 with a prayer and sung worship. You will find families, students, young professionals, retired folk, internationals (anyone and everyone!) at HBC. So if you are new to faith, an old hat or just exploring, come and join us and find friends and a community. Everyone is welcome!
We have many other activities throughout the month, from small groups, toddler groups, alternative services and special interest groups.

Dave joined us in 2018 and has a real passion for seeing Jesus changing lives. He has a community heart and believes that church should be looking to serve beyond itself. Committed to the wider area, he currently serves as Chair of Heaton Community Network - a group of local, community leaders with a desire to work collaboratively to serve the area. He has also served as a Governor at Chillingham Road Primary School and as a Trustee for Northern Baptist Association.
Married to Rachel, he has two children and is a Brentford fan. When he's not in church, he's probably out walking somewhere, and enjoys spending time with his family on the beautiful Northumberland beaches or hills.

The church normally meets every Sunday at 10:30am for our Sunday Service. It helps to get there 10 to 15 minutes early to get a parking spot and then a seat in time for the service to start.
