Welcome to John Knox Presbyterian Church Townsville
We're delighted to share with you God's Word, the Bible, as our supreme standard and the Westminster Confession of Faith as our subordinate standard. Our Church has sought to be a firm witness to Biblical Christianity in Townsville for many years and, until our Lord's return, by the grace of God, will continue to do so.
We would love to share this faith in the Lord Jesus with you. For this reason, you are warmly invited and welcome to join us in any of the worship services on the Lord's Day and at various other activities during the week. If you have any questions, please send us an email or give us a call.

Rev. Greg Watt has been the Minister at John Knox Presbyterian Church Townsville for 12 years.
Following a childhood in Papua New Guinea, he moved to Queensland where he worked at the Butter Marketing Board in a variety of capacities.
He was ordained as a Minister in 2000, and churches where he has ministered include Caboolture.
Greg comments that the ways God changed his life were through long exposure to God’s word, and through “the ups and downs of life”.
His goal for the year is to strengthen the hands of God’s people and congregations, particularly encouraging the habit of daily meditation in God’s Word.
Greg and his wife Helen have two adult children – Sidney and Robert.
At the 2017 Church Assembly, he was appointed the State Moderator of the Queensland Presbyterian Church for the year to June 2018.
