Under 12s:
The McLean Playschool operates out of the hall in the Bethel United Church located on Main Street in McLean, SK. We provide a pre-kindergarten caring and structured environment to ready children 3 and 4 years old for school. Our teacher, Kerri Bailey, helps the children learn skills such as sharing and playing with others, listening and following directions, letters and their sounds, numbers and counting, colours, shapes and craft skills such as cutting, gluing and painting.
Students are placed in classes according to their ages as of December 31st of that year, so that it follows along with their class as they enter kindergarten. The four year old group attends class every Tuesday and Thursday from 9:30am to 11:30am and yearly fees are $400. The yearly fee for the three year old group is $200, and classes are every Thursday from 9:30am to 11:30am with the four year olds. Late entrants are accepted with pro-rated fees, however there is a $50 late registration fee.
A registration night is held late August with classes usually beginning after the Labour Day long weekend. Children MUST be potty trained. For more information please call Pam Whyte at 306-699-7371.
