What is New Revelation Christian Church?

New Revelation is a new church with a new vision for making disciples for Jesus Christ. We are making disciples by building on our twelve God given Biblical pillars; Discipleship, Worship, Relationship, Stewardship, Membership, Citizenship, Ownership, Leadership, Partnership, Scholarship, Workmanship and Apostleship. Our church is a plant of Light of the World Christian Church (Disciples of Christ).

Pastor Richard A. Reynolds is a happy husband to his wonderful wife, Tonya L. Reynolds, and a faithful father to his daughter, Jordan, and his sons, Richard and Coleman. Pastor Reynolds is a native of Louisville, Kentucky, where he received his call to ministry and served faithfully under the visionary leadership of his first father in ministry, Dr. Kevin W. Cosby, at St. Stephen Church.

Progressing as a visionary leader himself, he co-founded Motivation Associates, Inc. and The Center for Excellence, Inc., a for-profit and not-for-profit that contracted with the public school system establishing a mobile mentoring program that served 14 schools and over 600 youth. During this time, Pastor Reynolds served as the Assistant Pastor at Greater Salem Baptist Church in Louisville, Kentucky.

In 2003 he responded to the voice of the Lord and relocated to Indianapolis, Indiana, to serve under the prophetic leadership of Bishop T. Garrott Benjamin, Jr. at Light of the World Christian Church. During this time Pastor Reynolds earned his Masters of Divinity from Christian Theological Seminary in Indianapolis and served as the Pastoral Intern at Light of the World. In September 2009, Pastor and Lady Tonya Reynolds founded New Revelation Christian Church along with a faithful body of believers and they continue to serve the Kingdom of God in this capacity.

Pastor Reynolds and New Revelation are celebrating their seventh year as a church. This is their season to sow and grow for the glory of God. All of New Revelation gives God the glory for the blessing of their new church campus at 6701 Oaklandon Road, 7.2 acres and a 41,000 sq/ft facility, complete with worship space, offices, pre-school and gym. This is the land where we are taking root downward and bearing fruit upward. Pastor Reynolds also serves as the CEO of their early childhood education ministry, Crown Christian Acedemy and the new CROWN Community Development Corporation, Inc., which is a new 501(c)3 not-for-profit ministry that serves as the vehicle through which New Revelation will provide many community outreach and empowerment opportunities. In Fall 2015 Crown Mentoring began serving boys in partnership with Lawrence Township Schools and served over 100 boys during the first school year. In Spring 2016 Crown Sports launched our first basketball league for boys and girls. All that he does is as a servant of the Lord and for His Glory.
