Pleasant View Baptist Church has been serving the Lord and being a light in this community for over 150 Years! I am so honored that the Lord has called me and my family and lead us here to pastor “The Little Church on the Hill”! My wife Mandy, daughters Brooke (15) and Hannah (2) and I are thrilled that God has allowed us to serve here together. February 24th was my first Sunday as new Pastor and we are beyond excited as to what the Lord is doing and is going to do as we yield ourselves to Him to reach the lost and be a help to families in need. As you know, we are living in a day where church and the Gospel has become so watered down that the Jesus of the Bible and the Old Time Way has become almost a thing of the past. We also know that the God of the Bible (The Creator of the Universe) changes NOT and HE is always the same! Praise the Lord! The same God and power we read about in the Scriptures, and the nation changing revivals we have only heard about over the last 200 years, that same God is the God we serve! I am absolutely convinced that God will always have a remnant of HIS children that experience HIS great power and see HIS miraculous hand at work (in HIS house) and in the lives of those that are surrendered to do HIS work.

In our services, the King James Bible (God’s Perfect Word) will be preached and exalted! Jesus will be lifted up and given the maximum glory HE deserves! It is our desire to see sinners saved, families restored and put back together, and lives forever changed. It is our prayer to see revival fires fall on us from Heaven to transform us, our community and our nation. Bus Ministry Outreach Program

All children will be fed breakfast when they arrive at church. Sunday School will start with a lesson straight from the Bible for each age group. When each class has finished with their lesson from the Word of God, we bring ALL the children together from each class to sing songs accompanied with a piano. After Sunday School, ALL children and teenagers will go to the Sanctuary for Old Fashioned Singing and Preaching from the Word of God! All the children that want to participate in singing the songs that they have learned and practiced in Sunday School will have the opportunity to sing in the youth chior during our worship service. It is our desire to teach these children that Jesus is ALIVE and show them how to worship the ONE TRUE and Living God! Please pray for us as we seek to reach these children with the life changing power of the Gospel. We know that it is Jesus Christ and HIS power that will change and impact their lives forever!
