Because the threat of Covid-19 is still a reality and because we have a population that is largely at risk, we ask that you observe the following covenants and considerations during our time together.
*We are gathering at Sardis UMC at 10 for Bible Study and 11 for Worship
*You must remain in your car throughout the service. You will be able to hear the service on your radio at 91.1fm
*We will have a time of collecting our offering. If you make an offering, be sure to put it in an envelope and put the name of your church on the outside. The counters will be sure it gets to the right place. You may also continue to mail your offering into your respective treasurer/financial secretary.
*Of course when you plan any outdoor event the weather is a factor. If the weather is predicted and very certain to be bad, we will send out an announcement by phone letting you know of any changes. If a storm sneaks up on us, we may have to cancel at the last minute. If there is a quick shower, we may wait in our vehicles and start a few minutes late.

For 6 weeks during the summer we host Carolina Cross Connections, a camp for middle school through high school age youth who are in Asheville to experience urban ministry. Every Thursday while they are here we gather for a cookout and a softball game with our friends from the Haywood Street Congregation.

Community Breakfast
We offer a free community breakfast on the first Saturday of every month from 7am to 10:30am. Come and enjoy a full breakfast bar, eggs cooked to order and joyful fellwoship. Donations are accepted to support this and other mission outreach programs

The United Methodist Women is a mission focused organization of the UMC. The UMW at Reeves Chapel meets monthly for a program and a meal. They provide financial support to missions locally and abroad.
