Who we are
St. John's UMC is a passionate Christ-centered church located in Turnersville, NJ. Whether you are new to church or have been going all your life, there is a place at St. John's for you. We offer a diverse group of programs and ministries for individuals of all different ages and faith levels. We are a church of Christ-followers who seeks to be connected with God and experience a "real" relationship with Him, Each Other, and with the World.
Connecting with God
Connecting with GOD through building a love relationship, discerning His will, and aligning ourselves with His will.
"As the deer pants for steams of water,
so my soul pants for you, O God.
My soul thirsts for God, for the living God.
When can I go and meet with God?"

Connecting with Each other
Connecting with EACH OTHER by building authentic relationships through Life Groups, Worship, and Outreach.
"Instead, we will speak the truth in love, growing in every way
more and more like Christ, who is the head of His body, the church.
He makes the whole body fit together perfectly.
As each part does its own special work, it helps the other parts grow,
so that the whole body is healthy and growing and full of love."

Connecting with THE WORLD through missions and outreach by challenging ourselves and each other to love, as Christ loved, and to embrace everyone on our journey.
"This is how we know what love is: Jesus Christ laid down his life for us.
And we ought to lay down our lives for our brothers and sisters.
Dear children, let us not love with words or speech
but with actions and in truth."

OUR CURRENT SUNDAY SCHEDULE IS AS FOLLOWS:
Our worship services are as diverse as the many people who make up our congregation.
8:30am - Traditional Worship Service
This service takes place in the Sanctuary and features classical Christian worship elements such as the singing of hymns, reciting of the Apostle's Creed, music from the St. John's Choir and is followed by a specially prepared message.
9:50am - Soul Solutions Adult Bible Studies
Sunday School for Youth and Kids
11:00am - Contemporary Worship Service
Located in the Family Life Center (FLC) and features a more modern worship service where contemporary worship anthems are led by our Worship Team followed by a specially prepared message.
During our Worship Services, Nursery Care is provided for Children up to 4 years of age and Children Programs are provided for 3 years of age to 5th grade.
