Who we are
We are a community of Christians based in Maidstone, Kent and the surrounding areas. We love family, we love our community and we love seeing people meeting Jesus and being made whole. Please take a look around and learn more about us.
We are a family that is always ready to have new members!
At The Vine we believe in everyone working together, with God, to see His kingdom come to Maidstone. All the things we do are run by different groups and teams.
Our mission: To love God, love others and make disciples, to go and grow.
Our calling: To be a God loving, Jesus living, Spirit empowered people, who make disciples as we visibly demonstrate God’s love and power in the world.
Our vision: To see thousands of people transformed by Jesus, added to His church, and joining Him in shaping their communities.
Our statement of faith:
What we do will always come out of what we most deeply hold to be true. Our actions will always follow our strongest beliefs. Therefore knowing what we believe will help paint the backdrop to why we do what we do. If you have any questions then please do get in contact.
Coronavirus Update:
Due to the restrictions upon movement and gathering at this time The Vine is closed for all Sunday worship and weekday gatherings. However we are very much a family who continue to connect with each other through emails, phone calls, online prayer, ministry and worship. In spite of the current crisis, we believe in doing everything we can to remain family and to share the love of God with others.
We therefore remain open online. If you wish to get in touch with us your first point of contact is by email: hello@thevineuk.net If your need is urgent, you can email this address or telephone 01622 746839, both of which are regularly monitored during office hours.
If you are lonely, feeling isolated or fearful, or you simply want to talk, please call us. If you are looking for prayer or spiritual support please do get in touch. We long to share the love of God with all people, practically and spiritually. If you have any specific needs where you require support, please do call us to see if we can help.
As time goes on we are uploading spiritual inputs and videos for you to watch and worship sessions for you to join in with. You will find these under ‘media’ on the menu.
If you are part of our church email correspondence, you will have already received both emails with news and links to our sermons and worship sessions. If you are having problems with that email us at hello@thevineuk.net and we can get you connected.

It is also important to note that our buildings are closed apart from in the cases of necessary administration tasks. The exception to this is our food bank, which is still running to continue support for our local community in this critical time. Our buildings are not available for any bookings, but as government legislation changes we will adjust accordingly. If you have any questions in regards to this please email hello@thevineuk.net.

Our food bank serves the local community when times are tough. If you are unable to buy your own food please contact the Life @ The Vine team for more details 07724473796.
We also value donations to our food bank, please contact the office for details.

Our hub at the Shepway parade is called 'Life @ The Vine'. That is because it is more than a shop. As well as stocking a range of donated household goods, clothes and toys, it is also a place to enjoy a cup of tea and find another branch of our family ready to welcome you.
Open Monday to Friday, 9.45-12.45 (term time)
Open Monday, Wednesday, Friday 9.45-12.45 (school holidays)
If you have an urgent need for furnishings, housing goods, or food please contact our team 07724473796.
Oasis Café (Due to Coronavirus this activity is currently suspended)
On Wednesdays (9:00-2:30PM) and Thursdays (9:00-12:00AM) at our Northumberland Road centre we run a rather jolly café. It serves everything from fried eggs and bacon to steaming cups of tea and cakes.
Our community worker is there to help and advise those that need it.
All our food and drink is at cost prices.
Silver Service (Due to Coronavirus this activity is currently suspended)
Our Over 60s ministry meets on a regular basis to socialise, eat and have an occasional outing! The next coffee morning is within the next few weeks, so email the church office (hello@thevineuk.net) for more information.
Table Tennis (Due to Coronavirus this activity is currently suspended)
Every Wednesday between 10:00 -12:00 join us at Loose Chapel (ME15 0BU) for table tennis! A great way to meet new people, socialise and get some exercise.
