SUMMARY:Cogges St Mary Service Times
DESCRIPTION:Sunday Holy Communion A quiet service of Holy Communion following the Book of Common Prayer. There is a short sermon but no hymns. Every Sunday at 8:00 AM for 55 minutes Morning Worship This is a more formal service than the 11am Service. Visitors are always welcome. Every first second fourth and fifth Sunday at 9:15 AM for 1 hour Morning Worship with Baptism Visitors are especially welcome at this all age service, particularly those coming for the Baptism of children. Coffee and cake will be served at the end of the service. Every third Sunday at 9:15 AM for ¾ hour Morning Worship St Mary's main service of the day, with a mixture of modern and traditional music, scripture readings, preaching and prayer, with opportunities for using spiritual gifts. Children go straight to Junior Church. Every first third fourth and fifth Sunday at 10:30 AM for 1 hour and 20 minutes. Holy Communion St Mary's main service of the day. A service of Holy Communion using "Common Worship", with a mixture of modern and traditional music, scripture readings, preaching and prayer, and opportunities for using spiritual gifts. Children go straight to Junior Church. Every second Sunday at 10:30 AM for 1 hour and 20 minutes. Evening Service Every first second third and fifth Sunday at 6:30 PM for 1 hour Celebration service Join us in celebrating the love of God with our guest speaker. Every fourth Sunday at 6:30 PM for 2 hours Tuesday Cogglets (Toddler Group) Cogglets Toddler Group meets in the Cogges Church Centre. We aim to provide somewhere that Mums and carers can come and meet others with pre-school children. The group is an ideal place for a small child to learn to play, socialise and try their hand at simple arts and crafts. We are a church-based group run by volunteers. Each session includes refreshments and ends with a singing time. In term time Every Tuesday at 1:30 PM for 1 hour Friday Seniors' Group The Cogges Seniors Group meets on the second Friday of each month (except August) at 2.30pm at Cogges Church Centre. Come and meet with your friends, have a chat over a cup of tea, enjoy some varied social activities with a short talk at the end. Transport can be provided for those unable to walk to the Centre.
