DESCRIPTION:At FBC Mocksville we have two very distinct worship services on a weekly basis. 8:30 – Casual and Contemporary Service Music that includes guitars, drums, and keyboards and features a praise team who leads in praise and worship style singing Sermons that are similar in content to our other weekly worship but delivered in a style that matches the setting of the service The relaxed atmosphere lends to a more informal dress style. We ask that while being respectful of where you are, you come as you are! 11:00 – Time-honored and Traditional Service Music that includes a choir, various ensembles, and congregational singing. The music features piano and organ accompaniment. The sermon is delivered in a more “high church” style. The service includes scripture lessons and formal rituals. The more reserved mood lends itself to a more formal style of dress and decorum.
