DESCRIPTION:HOLY WEEK 2016 SCHEDULE Palm Sunday, March 20 | 10 AM Mass (with procession) Chrism Mass, Tuesday, March 22 | 2 PM at St. Michael’s in Cary The Triduum … Holy Thursday, March 24 | Celebration of the Lord’s Supper, 7 PM. Begins with the presentation of the oils from the Chrism Mass, includes foot-washing ceremony, and concludes with procession to the Altar for the Repose of the Eucharist. Good Friday, March 25 | Service, 3 PM, begins in silence. The Passion will be presented in dramatic form. During the 10 intercessions, the congregation will remain standing, and leaves in silence at the conclusion of the service. Easter Vigil, Saturday, March 26 | Mass, 8 PM. The liturgy begins outside. Laurence Batterson and Frank Whitehead will be baptized, confirmed and receive their First Holy Communion at the Easter Vigil. A reception follows the Easter Vigil liturgy. Easter Sunday, March 27| 10 AM Mass EASTER SPECIAL FOR THE CHILDREN Saturday, March 26 | 10 AM – Barbara Graham Easter Egg Hunt for children of the parish and the area community. Bring your smile and a basket to meet the Easter Bunny, find eggs and have lunch. Sign up in the Gathering Space this weekend.
