DESCRIPTION:Divine Liturgy Sunday at 10:00 a.m. Upcoming Services Saturday, January 6, 2024, 6:30 PM - Badnje Vece Sunday, January 7, 2024, 10:00 AM - Christmas Liturgy Christmas Celebrations The Serbian Orthodox Church, like many other Orthodox churches, follows the old Julian Calendar, according to which Christmas falls thirteen days after December 25 on the calendar now used in most of the world. Our Christmas Eve Badnje Vece celebration in our hall begins with a short prayer service and a symbolic burning of the Yule log. The evening continues with music and family fun for all ages. The Divine Liturgy on Christmas Day (January 7) at St. Stephen Nemanja will be followed by a festive meal in the church hall. If you will be attending, please let Fr. John know by email so that we can plan the food accordingly.
