DESCRIPTION:Sunday Holy Communion An inclusive eucharist service, accompanied by our organist and choir we celebrate communion and share the Peace. Coffee and biscuits are served after this service. please note that from the 12th October, there will be two services every Sunday morning. The first will be at 8.30am and the second at 10am Every Sunday at 8:30 AM Parish Eucharist Every Sunday at 10:00 AM for 1 hour Monday Mother and Toddler Group St. Francis Parent and Toddler Group The children have a wonderful time and it's a good way for parents to meet new friends as well. £1.50 for your first child attending. £1 for each additional child. Term time only Every Monday at 9:15 AM Rainbows Rainbows We are a fun lively group of Rainbows. We enjoy games, songs, crafts and activities. We meet at 5.30pm for one hour. It's Leaders organise a wide range of activities from art and craft to camping. Term time only Every Monday at 6:00 PM for 1 hour and 15 minutes. Guides Our Guides are a friendly, enthusiastic and very active group who meet in our Church Hall. For more information please contact Mrs. A. Cottam on 208885 Term time only Every Monday at 7:15 PM Tuesday indoor short mat bowling Indoor Short Mat Bowling will resume in St. Francis Church Hall on Tuesdays beginning 7th October respectively from 1.00pm to 3.00pm Newcomers welcome. Bowls will be provided. Relaxed and friendly participants. for more information please contact Margaret or Bernard Walsh on 01254 202930 Tuesday at 1:00 PM for 2 hours Mothers' Union Meetings are on the first Tuesday of each month in the Kindergarten at 7.45pm £1.00 includes tea and biscuits. Do come along and join us. We are a friendly bunch. Mothers' Union is an international Christian charity that seeks to support families worldwide. Every first Tuesday at 7:45 PM Wednesday Beavers Beaver Scouts are the youngest section of the Scouting family who meet in our Church Hall. Their activities are based around making things, outdoor activities, singing, playing games, going out on visits, investigating nature, listening to stories, learning how to be safe and most importantly, making new friends. Term time only Every Wednesday at 5:30 PM Cubs A weekly Cub Scout meeting consists of games and activities with plenty of time spent outdoors. Cub Scouts are able to go to Cub Scout camps or indoor Pack residentials and enjoy a variety of expeditions. Meetings are held in our Church Hall. For more information, please contact Mr. I. Term time only Every Thursday at 9:15 AM Friday Scouts Scouts are encouraged to take part in a wide range of activities They are encouraged to find out about the world in which they live, to know their own abilities and develop their creative talents. Being outdoors is important, and our Scouts participate in a wide range of activities including camping, survival, cooking, as well as a wider spectrum of adventurous activities including archery.Most meetings are held in our Church Hall.
