SUMMARY:St Georges Service Times
DESCRIPTION:Sunday 1st Sunday - All Age Service A service suitable for all ages. This service is very child friendly, having them sit at the front on bean bags, singing, dancing, learning from the bible, and interacting with our new friends, George and Mildred. Every first Sunday at 9:30 AM for ¾ hour Morning Worship, 3rd Sunday 'Morning Worship' is an informal service with extended times of sung worship. Children's ministry also available. Every Sunday at 10:00 AM for 1½ hours Morning Worship, 5th Sunday Fifth Sunday Services are varied. Previous 5th Sundays have included Celtic Communion and Prayer Walking. Every Sunday at 10:00 AM for 1½ hours Morning Worship, 2nd/4th Sunday A Communion service with children's ministry and creche. Every second and fourth Sunday at 10:00 AM for 1½ hours Monday Prayer Groups Among the many answers to prayer, we have seen people healed, set free from fear, and given peace. Why not join us at one of our regular prayer meetings and share the excitement when God answers our prayers? We can and do also pray alone, but it’s good to have fellowship with others who like to pray Monday - 12 noon - 1 pm Saturday - 8:30 am - 9:30 am Please contact the Church Office for further details. Every Monday at 12:00 PM for 1 hour Bible Study The aim of the Bible Study Groups are: - To gain a deeper knowledge of the Bible and how it applies to our own lives - Fellowship and mutual support for one another 1st and 3rd Mondays of the month, 2pm in the Lounge 2nd and 4th Thursdays of the month, 10am in the Lounge Every first and third Monday at 2:00 PM for 1½ hours Fellers Fellers is a men's group which meets in the Lounge at St George's Church for Bible study, discussion and prayer within a friendly atmosphere as well as meeting for social activities such as Bowling, Paint Balling, Curry evenings, and Pub Outings etc. Every second and fourth Monday at 8:00 PM for 2 hours Radiance Radiance is a ladies fellowship group open to all ladies in the parish. We meet with the purpose of sharing our lives, and developing our faith together, at a time outside Sunday mornings. Every third Monday at 8:00 PM for 1½ hours Tuesday Silver Threads Silver Threads is a social group for women and men aged 60 years old and over, from around the Parish and community. We meet on the 2nd Tuesday of each month (except during August) at 10:30 am to 12:00 midday in the Lounge at St George’s Church. Every second Tuesday at 10:30 AM for 1½ hours Wednesday Bereavement Support Group We aim to provide a safe place where people who are bereaved whether recently or in the past are befriended and given permission to be themselves. 1st and 3rd Wednesday of each month, in the Lounge at 2pm Every first and third Wednesday at 2:00 PM for 1½ hours Thursday Bible Study The aim of the Bible Study Groups are: - To gain a deeper knowledge of the Bible and how it applies to our own lives - Fellowship and mutual support for one another 1st and 3rd Mondays of the month, 2pm in the Lounge 2nd and 4th Thursdays of the month, 10am in the Lounge Every second and fourth Thursday at 10:00 AM for 1½ hours Ignite Ignite is a Youth Group for 13-20′s. We always have a time of sharing, talking about any challenges we have faced during the week or sharing great news with each other. We enjoy worshipping God together and also applying the Bible to our lives.
