DESCRIPTION:Harvest Thanksgiving Parish Mass for Harvest Thanksgiving. Please bring gifts of tinned / packet foods and toiletries for the House of Mercy in Gravesend (Hostel for young homeless people). Saturday 24th September 2016 at 9:30 AM for 1 hour   Dedication Feast of S.Mary's Church Solemn Mass will take place in the Church of S.Mary, Church Street, Higham at 10am (replacing the normal 9.30am in S.John's). Mass will be offered at 6.30pm in S.John's also. Sunday 2nd October 2016 at 10:00 AM for 1 hour   Sunday Morning Prayer Sunday at 8:45 AM for ¼ hour Parish Mass Parish Mass is in the 'solemn form' meaning sung parts of the service as well as hymns/songs. Modern western style ceremonies, lectionary and liturgy. Incense is used each week. Children and infants may gather in the hall for Junior Church during the Liturgy of the Word.
