SUMMARY:St John in the Wilderness Anglican Church Service Times
DESCRIPTION:Come worship with us Sunday mornings at 8:30 and 10:30 AM. The 8:30 AM service is most often Holy Communion, using traditional (Old English) language. It's a quiet, simple liturgy with no music. The 10:30 AM service is most often Holy Eucharist (another term for Communion) taken from the Book of Alternative Services, using modern language. This service is more active, with music including hymns and a sung Psalm. Join Us for Holy Week and Easter 2024! Thursday, March 28th - Maundy Thursday 7:00 pm - BAS Holy Eucharist with Footwashing and Stripping of the Altar Friday, March 29th - Good Friday 10:00 am - Good Friday liturgy (no Eucharist) Saturday, March 30th - Holy Saturday **note location** 6:30 pm - Easter Vigil PLEASE NOTE: -- the Vigil will be held at All Saints' Anglican Church, Sarnia (248 Vidal St N) and is a combined service with all Sarnia area Anglican parishes. Sunday, March 31st - Easter Sunday 8:30 am - BCP Holy Communion 10:30 am - BAS Holy Eucharist with Sunday School (including some fun things planned for Easter for our youth!)
