DESCRIPTION:Sunday PARISH MASS Our principal act of worship is the Eucharist (also known as Mass and Holy Communion). We use a variety of music from traditional hymns to modern worship songs. Every Sunday at 11:00 AM for 1 hour and 5 minutes. Luganda Service A service in Luganda for the Ugandan community. Every second Sunday at 4:00 PM for 2 hours Evening Prayer Evening Prayer, using the Book of Common Prayer. Said/sung most days, unless other appointments prevent. Sunday at 5:00 PM for 20 minutes Monday Morning Prayer Every Monday at 8:30 AM for 20 minutes Evening Prayer Evening Prayer, using the Book of Common Prayer. Said/sung most days, unless other appointments prevent. Monday at 5:00 PM for 20 minutes Tuesday Evening Prayer Evening Prayer, using the Book of Common Prayer. Said/sung most days, unless other appointments prevent. Tuesday at 5:00 PM for 20 minutes Wednesday Morning Prayer Every Wednesday at 8:30 AM for 20 minutes Evening Prayer Evening Prayer, using the Book of Common Prayer. Wednesday at 5:00 PM for 20 minutes Sacrament of Reconciliation ( Confession ) A priest is available to hear Confession s between 6pm and 6.30pm on Wednesdays, or at any time by appointment. Every Wednesday at 6:00 PM for ½ hour Mass and Holy Hour Mass, followed by silent prayer in front of the Blessed Sacrament exposed, finishing with Benediction just before 7.30pm. Come and go as you wish or need. Every first Wednesday at 6:30 PM for 1 hour Taize Mass Mass using music and meditations from the Taize community in France. Every second Wednesday at 6:30 PM for ½ hour Requiem Mass A said Eucharist offered for those whose anniversary falls this month. Past worshippers and people connected with St John's are prayed for by name. Every third and fourth Wednesday at 6:30 PM for ½ hour Mass with Laying on of Hands and Anointing A quiet, reflective service with prayers for healing and wholeness. Prayer ministry, laying on of hands, and anointing with the oil of the sick are available. Every third Wednesday at 6:30 PM for 35 minutes Thursday Morning Prayer Every Thursday at 8:15 AM for 10 minutes Mass Said celebration of the Eucharist, with homily. Every Thursday at 8:30 AM for 25 minutes Evening Prayer Evening Prayer, using the Book of Common Prayer. Said/sung most days, unless other appointments prevent. Thursday at 5:00 PM for 20 minutes Saturday Evening Prayer Evening Prayer, using the Book of Common Prayer. Said/sung most days, unless other appointments prevent. Saturday at 5:00 PM for 20 minutes
