DESCRIPTION:Hobbies and Pastimes at St Laurence Church Come and join a new creative group where we can share ideas, learn new skills and enjoy each other's company. Started in July 2014, it was such a hit we're meeting monthly. Admission £2.50 A monthly meeting every second Wednesday at 1:30 PM for 2 hours   Sunday Holy Communion & Healing Every first Sunday at 9:30 AM for 1 hour Morning Prayer Every second Sunday at 9:30 AM for 1 hour Family Service Every third Sunday at 9:30 AM for 50 minutes Morning Prayer & Baptism Every fourth Sunday at 9:30 AM for 1 hour Holy Communion Every third Sunday at 6:00 PM for 1 hour Tuesday Morning Prayer Every Tuesday at 9:00 AM for 20 minutes Wednesday Morning Prayer Every Wednesday at 9:00 AM for 20 minutes Weekday Communion Service This is a service following the Book of Common Prayer rite. It is followed by coffee. Every last Wednesday at 10:00 AM for ¾ hour Activeage Activeage offers gentle seated exercise for the over-60s led by a qualified instructor. As well as exercise, this gorup offer a friendly time together. Has Christmas left you puzzled and wanting to know if there is more to it? Would you like to know more about the Christian faith? Would you like to find out more about God? A chance to ask those questions about matters of the soul? Then take the opportunity to book in for our next sessions for explorers, and for those who want to refresh what they already know. It’s also the path through to baptism and/or confirmation, though there is no demand for any commitment. You can just do the course to find out and to ask those questions that you hardly dare ask. Many who have been on this course before have found it valuable. It will be a 6 week course starting on Wednesday 21st January at 7.30pm at Measham Vicarage. Each session will have input but how each session goes depends largely on the questions that the members of the group bring. There is some reading in between sessions.
