SUMMARY:St Mary's Church Service Times
DESCRIPTION:Sunday Club (Junior Church) Sunday Club is our exciting church for children aged 4 - 11 years, run concurrently with the 10am Sunday Service (during School Term time including half-term Sunday's). Children enjoy their own songs, prayers and activities including craft and drama. All parents wishing children to take part are asked to complete and return the attached form. with thanks. We don't run during the Christmas, Easter or Summer Holidays (We do run in half term week!) every Sunday at 10:00 AM for 40 minutes   Family Service Our Family Service is held on the first, third and fifth Sunday's monthly and involves a few simple songs, a bible reading and interactive talk for the children, prayers and sharing the peace. All are encouraged to come along to the Rutherwyke Room at 11am for refreshments first before we start at 11.30am. Every first third and fifth Sunday at 11:30 AM for 35 minutes   Noah's Ark Toddler & pre-school group Noah’s Ark is a Thursday Morning parent & toddler group for pre-school children and babies including fun songs, a story, play time and refreshments (breakfast is served from 9.30am - toast, tea etc...) Come along and join in the fun! Held during term time - Meet in the Rutherwyke room, behind St Mary’s Church in Church Approach. Park outside the Vicarage in the car parking area, next to the church. This group meets Term Time only. We don't meet during half-term week Thursday at 9:30 AM for 2 hours   Parish Office Open in St Mary's Church CHURCH & PARISH OFFICE OPEN EVENINGS - Come along to St Mary's Church on a Thursday evening to have a chat with Father Damian (6-7.15pm - Eucharist 7.30pm). You may like to use this opportunity to book a wedding, baptism or other service or just to ask about St Mary's Thorpe and have a look around the 10th Century Church. Thursday at 6:00 PM for 2 hours   10:30am Wednesday Eucharist (Holy Communion) A daytime said Eucharist for the season, with bible readings, prayers of intercession and Holy Communion. Wednesday at 10:30 AM for 35 minutes   8am Said Eucharist with Sermon A simple service of Holy Communion using Common Worship with seasonal additional prayers. Sunday at 8:00 AM for 40 minutes   10am Parish Sung Eucharist Our Sunday service is a Eucharist with Hymns and Mass settings chosen to reflect the season. There is a Sermon and prayers of intercession. The service is followed by refreshments. There is a small children's corner at the back of the church for toddlers to play (with their parents in attendance). Sunday at 10:00 AM for 1 hour   CORPUS CHRISTI - Day of thanksgiving for Holy Communion CORPUS CHRISTI is the day when we give thanks to God that Jesus meets us in the Holy Sacrament of Communion - just as he promised. The service includes hymns and concludes with traditional blessing by the Sacrament - Benediction. Festival Eucharist with Hymns and Benediction 7.30pm Thursday 30th May Thursday 26th May 2016 at 7:30 PM for ¾ hour   Summer Fayre 2016 - Celebrating the 90th Birthday of HM Queen Elizabeth II Our Grand Summer Fayre will offer fun and entertainment for all the family, including the Egham Band, BBQ, Cream Tea, Grand Prize Draw, Tombola, Stalls, Games, Bouncy Castle, Roundabout and much more to enjoy! Don't miss out! There will also be a minature flower festival in the Church which will be open for visitors all day.
