DESCRIPTION:Book group A book group sponsored by Bradford MDC library services for adults interested in general fiction (secular). All welcome. Every second Monday at 7:00 PM for 1 hour   The Queen's 90th Birthday Celebration (2pm) We are having an afternoon tea party to celebrate the Queen's 90th birthday. We we will have representation from Her Majesty the Queen and all church family will receive a commemoration gift. The afternoon will include a special peal of bells to mark the occasion. Sunday 12th June 2016 at 2:00 PM for 1½ hours   Bell ringing course This is a ringing training session using our simulator. If you would like to join in a simulator session please email bob.schofield@btinternet.com. Thursday 16th June 2016 at 2:00 PM for 150 minutes   Service of Holy Baptism Most of our Baptisms are undertaken in our main Sunday morning service with the whole worshipping community. However, due to the increasing numbers of our worshipping community our larger Baptism parties have to come together in a separate service for practical accommodation reasons. Sunday 19th June 2016 at 12:30 PM for ¾ hour   Guest bell ringers The Bilsborrow ringers will be practising with us on the morning of the 25th of June. All are welcome to this village, family community service with children's groups and refreshments. The second Sunday of the month is a specific family and uniformed organisation parade service which is popular with families with primary school children in particular. Tuesday at 6:30 PM for 1½ hours PCC meeting The Parochial church council monthly meeting. This meeting is not open to the public. Any church members interested in joining the PCC should speak to the PCC Chairman (Revd NIgel) or PCC secretary (Andrew Collinson) in the first instance. Appointments to the PCC are made at the Annual Parochial Meeting in April of each year. Every second Tuesday at 7:30 PM for 2 hours Wednesday Bell ringing practise We have excellent ringing facilities at St Mary's with a full peal of eight bells. All are welcome to come and give it a try. We have experienced trainers and a lively, friendly group of ringers - adults and children alike. If you would like to join, new ringers should attend at 7pm (not 7.30pm). Wednesday at 7:30 PM for 1½ hours Thursday Choir practise All are welcome to come and sing with us in practise. Do come and give it a try. We have a very experienced choir leader and are blessed with a choir almost twenty strong and three organists. Thursday at 7:00 PM for 1 hour Night prayer A gentle and calming end to the day with the beautiful service of compline. Thursday at 8:00 PM for ½ hour Saturday Breakfast with God This is an event for primary school children and their parents/carers. Come and enjoy breakfast, crafts, stories and music. No charge and breakfast is for the parents as well as the children :) Every first Saturday at 9:30 AM for 1 hour Toddler Praise This is one for all preschool children, toddlers and babies, together with their parents/carers. Come and enjoy songs and games; bible stories, play and crafts and refreshments for all. It's a chance to have some very special family time... Every third Saturday at 10:15 AM for 1 hour
