DESCRIPTION:Sunday Holy Communion A Eucharist; no music, homily included, Common Worship, 2nd 3rd 4th 5th Sunday of the month, BCP 1st of the month. Every Sunday at 8:00 AM for ¾ hour Parish Eucharist with Sunday School Traditional Eucharist with bell ringing, organ, choir, servers and acolytes and an address, There is a crèche area available and a Sunday School runs concurrently in the St Mary's Centre. Every Sunday at 9:30 AM for 1½ hours GIBSIDE (Chapel) EVENSONG near Burnopfield, Newcastle upon Tyne, Tyne And Wear, NE16 6BG Choral Evensong in the historic and unique Gibside (Chapel) set in the heart of the Gibside National Trust Estate and the parish of Whickham. The service is BCP; there is organ and singing. Access is by foot from the car park, a shuttle bus will take people to the centre if so desired. There are steps into the (Chapel). For disabled access to the (Chapel) wheel chair users should request help from staff when they reach the NT reception. Every first Sunday at 3:00 PM for 50 minutes 3@3 Worship A family friendly Service of the Word; informal and involving worship songs, reflection, crafting and prayer and refreshments. It is held in the St Mary's Centre, adjacent to the parish church in Church Chare. Every third Sunday at 3:00 PM for 1 hour Evensong Choral Evensong: Organ, choir and address. CW or BCP Every first second fourth and fifth Sunday at 6:30 PM for 1 hour Tuesday Office Hour A drop in time when bookings are taken for Marriage and Baptisms. Every Tuesday at 5:30 PM for 1 hour Holy Eucharist A reflective and gentle celebration of Holy Communion. Usually 6-10 people attend. Every Tuesday at 7:00 PM for ½ hour Wednesday Holy Eucharist Every Wednesday at 10:00 AM for ½ hour Thursday Play and Praise Every Thursday at 10:00 AM for 1 hour and 15 minutes. Saturday Holy Eucharist Every Saturday at 10:00 AM for ½ hour Baptism Instruction and Rehearsal Parents & Godparents of children, and adult candidates are invited to a Baptism Rehearsal and Instruction. Every first Saturday at 11:00 AM for ¾ hour Holy Baptism Usually 3 candidates are baptised within the service. Provision can be made for baptism within any of the Sunday services by prior agreement.
