SUMMARY:St Matthew Service Times
DESCRIPTION:Sunday Said Eucharist Traditional and reflective in style, this is a service that will appeal to anyone who prefers a more quiet form of worship than our main service. Every Sunday at 9:00 AM for ¾ hour Sung Eucharist This is our main worship service, held most Sundays. The service is led jointly by a member of the clergy and a lay worship assistant, using Common Worship to provide the service structure and liturgy. Music is lead by a choir except for the first Sunday of the month when there is a worship band. We sing a mixture of traditional hymns and modern worship songs. On the first Sunday of the month we have All Age Worship. On other Sundays there is a Sunday School for 4-11 year olds in the parish centre and a creche in the lounge. Every Sunday at 10:30 AM for 1 hour and 15 minutes. All Age Eucharist On the first Sunday of each month our main worship service is more informal and may be led by one of the groups within the church or by St Matthew's School. Music is lead by a worship band. Every first Sunday at 10:30 AM for 1 hour Vibe youth group Alternate weeks, term time only Sunday at 7:00 PM for 150 minutes Monday Morning Prayer Takes place in the Lady (Chapel) - entrance from the High Street. Every Monday at 9:00 AM for ½ hour Tuesday Morning Prayer Takes place in the Lady (Chapel) - entrance from the High Street. Every Tuesday at 9:00 AM for ½ hour Outline Theatre This Christian based theatre group meets every Tuesday evening in the church centre. New members welcome. Every Tuesday at 7:30 PM for 2 hours Wednesday Little Monsters Toddler Group A group for under 4s and their parents and carers. Come and meet other families, play with toys, take part in craft activities and singing. Refreshments available.. Term time only Every Wednesday at 1:30 PM for 1 hour and 45 minutes. Midweek Evening Worship An informal and peaceful service, alternating between Holy Communion and Evening Prayer and including a Bible study. Every Wednesday at 7:00 PM for ¾ hour Thursday Morning Prayer Takes place in the Lady (Chapel) - entrance from the High Street. Every Thursday at 9:00 AM for ½ hour Saturday Enquiry Hour A chance to make enquiries about booking baptism and marriage services - in the Church Lounge. Every Saturday at 9:30 AM for 1 hour
