| MY father was a hard working man that provided well for his family. One of my favorite moments is when we went on our ritual trip every summer in Aug, we would take the bus down to the ferry terminal take the ride across, walk up to Woolco to buy us school clothes and supplies, then walk up to the public gardens to feed the birds and listen to the band play, then walk back to the chinese place on Spring Garden to have a late lunch where he would always have his hot hamburger plate and mom and Pam and I would have 5 or 6 orders to share. Then walk back down to the ferry go across and take a taxi home, all being tired from the walking, but it was worth it and a memory I will always cherish. I loved helping him in his garden when i was younger, he would do the veggies for years and they were so good picked fresh, but he also loved his flowers and sitting in his chair in the front yard watching the people and cars go bye. He help people in the neighborhood when he could and loved it when someone dropped in to chat if they were walking by. Rocky being one of his favorites. I am so happy that they chose the house they did so we were able to make the memories I will never forget and to thank dad for making them with us. Will always love you and mom and I am proud to say they were my Parents | |
