NOTE:Constant and Philice Coulibaly have been in the Lord for 14 years (for Constant), and 12 years (for Philice). They have been married for six years. Constant is the father of a 27-year-old son. He is a journalist turned preacher. He has a master's degree in journalism from The University of Sheffield (UK). He also holds a Licence (the French equivalent of the bachelor's degree) in Communication Sciences and a Licence in French Studies, both of them earned at the University of Ivory Coast. He is fluent in English and French. After graduating in journalism Constant set off on a journey in pursuit of spiritual truth and of a personal relationship with God which led him to the church of Christ, coming from the Roman Catholic Church where he was sprinkled as an infant. Constant is a self-taught preacher. Not long after the Lord added him to His church, having been baptized by brother Stephen Eusell, who was then the preacher for the New Cross church of Christ in London, Constant preached his first full service sermon at the same church on Romans 16:16. There he continued to preach regularly for eight years. He learned on his own sermon delivery and voice projection skills by practising in a public park near where he lived at the time. From the church at New Cross, Constant moved on to serve as assistant preacher to Stephen Eusell for the Stockwell church of Christ in London for four years. Constant likes to say jokingly that he is better at preaching than he was at reporting. His love for Christ and the gospel combined with his desire for people to turn away from sin to God were the driving force behind his move from journalism to preaching. He is currently the preacher for the Brighton church of Christ. The Coulibalys are happy to work for Christ on the south coast.
