Angelique Bradford Image goes here. Angelique is originally from Pittsburgh, PA. In the fall of 2012, she relocated to Washington, D.C. to attend Wesley Theological Seminary in response to answering God’s call into ordained ministry within the United Methodist Church. She received a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Human Services from Geneva College in Beaver Falls, Pennsylvania. She is a recent graduate from Wesley Theological Seminary with a Master’s of Divinity. “As a leader in the church, it is my prayer to share and equip people with resources to live a purpose filled life that is transformed by Jesus Christ. I hope to touch many lives with the love of Christ through preaching and teaching with the power of the Holy Spirit and will go whomever and wherever God will send me.” Angelique possesses a strong leadership background and has worked extensively with her community of Beltzhoover to establish “Neighborhood Clean-ups” as well as her gregarious efforts to meet with city leadership regarding the concerns of the community. This opportunity afforded her recognition by the Pittsburgh Community Reinvestment Group to receive the first PCRG Mayor O’Connor Neighborhood Leadership Award, (2007). From this recognition she received citations from the Governor of Pennsylvania and the State Senator of the 42nd District. During her tenure in ministry she has served at Stanton Heights UMC in Pittsburgh, PA and Asbury UMC of DC. She has also served as Intern Pastor at Sharon First UMC of Sharon, PA and Calvary UMC of Arlington, VA. In the spring 2012, she was commissioned as a Health Minister by Pittsburgh Mercy Health System which is sponsored by the Sisters of Mercy Parish Nurse and Health Ministers Program. Many will say that she can be found in conversation reminding people of the Love that God has for them and encouraging them with these words from Romans 8:28, “And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose...” When you meet God’s servant, you will know it’s for a purpose that is full of promise.
