Let’s just say because of my eclectic background, I consider myself a bit of a spiritual mut - not really at home anywhere particular and at home everywhere at the same time. In college I studied Economics in Knoxville Tennessee, then off to seminary in Austin Texas and then came back to the Presbyterian Church. While raised in more traditional churches, I find myself just as much of a spiritual seeker as anyone else I might meet. When it comes to worship, music moves my soul, so I conduct and sing with the Peace Prez Prayz Choir, and love what music brings to worship. My preaching is connected to biblical texts, and while I come from a tradition that emphasizes scholarship - everyone should receive a message to take home for the week. I believe worship should inspire and that we all need laughter, joy and a spiritual home - these are gifts I have enjoyed at Peace Prez for seven years now!
