Dr. Guy Collins hails from the United Kingdom, where he studied for his M.Theol. at St Andrews University, Scotland. Guy also holds a Ph.D. from the University of Cambridge for his dissertation on philosophical theology. He was ordained within the Church of England, first working in London before moving to the US. Guy is the author of the recent publication, The Goldilocks God: Searching for the via media (Rowman & Littlefield, 2022) as well as Faithful Doubt: The Wisdom of Uncertainty (Cascade, 2015). In addition to ministry at St Thomas, Guy is the Episcopal Chaplain to Dartmouth College. ​Guy is fascinated with the questions and the questioners of theology and faith. He has taught at seminary and college and enjoys teaching both for Osher@Dartmouth and within the parish. He loves all movies and stories that make us think and question the reality of the world around us. Guy enjoys finding connections between fields as diverse as medieval hagiography, Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. and the self-professed atheist and author of His Dark Materials, Philip Pullman.
