Who we are
The Anglican Parish of Rangiora is a diverse family of New Zealanders who enjoy having God in the centre of our lives. We have been coming together in the Anglican tradition since the 1850s to focus on God (worship), to help each other and to help our communities.
As part of the Diocese of Christchurch we are lead spiritually by our Vicar, Andrew Allan-Johns under the oversight of our bishop. The Right Reverend Victoria Matthews who was installed as the eigth Bishop of Christchurch on 30 August 2008.
Our vision is to be a Christ-centred, outreaching community of faith. Because we are grateful that God has welcomed us into his family we want church to be welcoming, enjoyable and relevant part of your life also.
We have about 400 active members of all ages meeting during the week in homes and on Sundays in six different congregations each expressing the same beliefs but in a different style.
