Who we are
Assembly of Faith Outreach Center was organized on August 1, 1993 under the leadership of Pastor Andre Gross.
The ministry was started at a daycare center on 119th & Laflin for three months. As God began to move so did the ministry to several locations until He blessed the ministry with the purchase of our present location in September of 2010.
God has allowed the ministry to service the community through adult daycare programs, job training programs with cable and home security installation programs, coat drives, women's and men's outreaches.
The ministry is committed to training the youth to reach their God given destiny. The ministry has particpated in the City of Chicago- Mayor's Summer job program, Bud Billiken Parade and other back to school rallies, summer and fall Safe Haven programs, along with praise dancing and miming.
In 2004, Senior Pastor Andre was diagnosed with tonsil cancer in the last stage. Through his faith and God's healing his wife, Pastor Sharon kept the ministry going until the completion of his healing. Together they stand continuing the works of the Lord under the leadership of Pastor Wilfredo and Elizabeth De Jesús, of New Life Covenant, the mother church.
